Time to shine

Vintage blouse and tux

.

Simple clean lines, stunning shiny details and decadent texture clashing…sweet fashion poetry if you ask me. I’m loving the brocade vibe of this vintage blazer and 1950′s beaded tank - very Balmain right!

I had this stellar collection in mind when I did my style edit at an amazing little abode I’ve discovered called Vintage Venus. Vintage clothing is a great way to recreate designer looks – it has that same quality, shape and slick @s structure! And further to my fashion rant about jackets being style staples….I think this bad boy supports the case. Time to Shine style kids!

See the post in motion here (and me having a total poser fashion moment!)

Tee and Tux

Stones Rock tee

The tee and tux combo is a timeless uniform for me that I guess is a throw back to my music inspired past. My parents were 70′s London glam rocker kids and I think it’s kinda rubbed off! It’s an awesome aesthetic that really works – sexy enough to still be feminine but with the right amount of masculine to give it an edge. A tee and tux will take you to never ending fashion land and laced with a serious stack of silver…it’s the sweetest style song!
